Well done for your first few weeks year 7 TOTALers. Your homelearning challenge is that you are to:
a) Select a book or article on the topic of SURVIVAL.
b) Get your parent / carer to check with you that it is at the right level for you (not too hard, not too easy).
c) Read the book / article.
d) Prepare a presentation to be given to the class in the last week of this half term on:
- WHO (wrote it, who are the main characters?)
- WHEN (was it written, when is it set?)
- WHAT (Happens)
- WHY (would you recommend it or not recommend it, why did you choose it?)
- WHERE (was it set, where did you get the book)
The Learning Resource Centre has a selection of books, there are links on the right and the Cornwall Libraries Search engine all to help you.
